Spring Concert

The North Harrison band program will be hosting its spring concert on Sunday, May 5th, from 3:00pm-4:30pm. The concert will take place at the North Harrison High School gym and feature ensembles from both North Harrison Middle and High Schools. It is a great opportunity for our students to show their musical abilities, so please plan to attend and support our kids!

Students are required to dress in all black, formal attire.  Since this is a spring concert, students are allowed and encouraged to add spring accessories to their wardrobe. Call time for students is 2:20pm at their assigned area at NHHS. All students must stay until the end of the concert even after they have performed; it is a good chance for them to see and hear what band presents for them in the future. Attendance at the concert is a large portion of their grade, serving as a cumulative test for the end of the semester.

We will be combining the 7th and 8th grade bands for the concert. Since the two grades meet separately during the school day, we need to have after school rehearsals to combine the groups. These rehearsals will be on Tuesday, April 30th, and Thursday, May 2nd, from 3:30-4:30 at the NHMS band room. These are required rehearsals that will factor in to your student’s grade.
